About a month ago I released a website template for book fairs and conferences.  Today I want to share something which will make it easier to run that conference or book fair.

It’s a DOC file which is designed to gather all of an author’s media kit into one place so that if the author is asked for this info, they can just send the one file. Or, you can copy the requested bits of info from this one file into an email, and send the email.

I know there are many blog posts explaining how to assemble a media kit. It is good to have all the info in one place, but I recently realized that the one way to improve on assembling your media kit into one place is to make it easier to share the relevant info with event organizers so that the organizers can make use of it. That’s what this template is for.

You can get the template by signing up for my mailing list.

Edit: The template is now available via my free downloads page.

Note: This is not a one-pager intended to present an author’s info in a great layout (although I could make that). This template solves a different problem, one faced by event organizers.

Hi Nate. Great resource! Would you add the ISBN, press release, and publisher to this document? Thanks!

I created this with myself in mind (I was working on a book expo site). I’m not sure I would need the ISBN or publisher.

You can add them to your copy, though.
