Here are a few stories to read this Monday morning.

  • Anil Dash has a great argument why you shouldn’t have your newsletter on Substack: They’ll use your newsletter to cross-promote Nazis.  (Also, Substack’s cross-promotion is incredibly annoying – it’s basically spamming your subscribers.)
  • The Authors Guild breaks down the HarperCollins AI license deal.
  • A new “publisher” wants to use AI to publish your book. (TBH the company sounds like a vanity press which is cashing in on the AI hype.)
  • Nathan Bransford ponders whether authors should embrace AI.
