Here are a few stories to read this Monday morning.

  • The Internet Archive has decided to not file an appeal with the USA Supreme Court over the piracy lawsuit it lost last year.
  • Taylor Swift might not have needed a publisher for her book, but she really could have used the assistance of some competent professionals.
  • Apparently if you give ChatGPT a snippet from an article and ask it to find the source, it will sometimes just make shit up.
  • Book Funnel just debuted their version of a universal book link (this is a link to a page with buttons leading to a bunch of book retailers).  The reason I describe it as BF’s version is that Draft2Digital launched a similar service in (I think?) 2018. It’s awesome, and you should use it.
