Here are a few stories tor read this Monday morning.
- Colorado has passed an anti-book ban bill.
- Cory Dransfeldt points out that once companies partner with AI, we can no longer trust their output. (With news publishers this was already moot – we couldn’t trust them anyway.)
- Textbook publishers are suing Google because it sells adverts to textbook pirates, and then (allegedly) inadequately responds to publisher complaints.
- There’s a new report summarizing the various ways publishers are using AI.
- Amazon’s website continues to be glutted with crap. (There’s a reason why I shop Walmart first.)
Nate’s Tech Tip: There’s a new scam email going around which claims your hosting account is running out of storage. They are trying to trick you into clicking the link and giving them you username and passwords.
