Here are a few stories to read this Monday morning.

History repeats itself: B&N has inked a deal to buy the Denver-based Tattered Covers bookstore chain.
Baldur Bjarnasson points out how skepticism on the topic of AI is becoming widespread. (The AI hype bubble is bursting faster than I expected.)
An author has filed a class action lawsuit against Amazon, alleging the retail giant is abusing its monopoly on audiobook sales.
It’s just absolutely wild how the Internet Archive is framing its willful acts of piracy as “let readers read”.
Like many, I am really worried about how the next generation of readers is not being taught to read books.
